Announcing Our New Executive Director, Susan Corlett

The Board of Directors of Friends of the Children-SF Bay Area is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Corlett as our permanent Executive Director, effective immediately.

Susan brings over 40 years of leadership in the nonprofit sector, including serving as Executive Director of East Bay Agency for Children. For the past five years, she has been a key member of Friends-SF’s leadership team as Director of Development and Communications, spearheading strategic initiatives that increased annual revenue, strengthened our financial foundation, and expanded our capacity to serve more children.

As Executive Director, Susan will guide Friends of the Children-SF Bay Area into its next chapter with a steadfast commitment to mentorship and breaking the cycle of generational poverty. Her deep understanding of our mission, strong relationships with our supporters, and unwavering dedication to the children we serve make her the ideal leader for this moment.
