Stephanie Doi was born and raised in the East Bay and currently resides in San Francisco. In her previous role at SEI, an environmental education and workforce development organization, she implemented and collaborated on fundraising initiatives, community and corporate partnerships, and advocacy and communication efforts to support SEI’s mission and programming. Prior to joining the SEI team, Stephanie worked as a development and communications professional at the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California in San Francisco managing and supporting fundraising campaigns and events, individual giving and donor correspondence, community partnerships, and communications. After serving as a Young Professionals Board Member for Friends-SF since December 2021, Stephanie joined the Friends-SF team as the Communications Manager on the Development Team in 2022. With a professional, volunteer, and personal background focused on cultural sovereignty, community building, and racial equity, she was excited to lend her experience and passion to the organization. Stephanie graduated from Claremont McKenna College in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a Human Rights, Genocide, and Holocaust Sequence.
