Erandi joined Friends of the Children–SF Bay Area as a Professional Mentor in 2026. A first-generation Latina born and raised in San Francisco, she is deeply committed to expanding opportunity and consistent support for youth in under-resourced communities. Her experiences growing up in the city shaped her understanding of how access, mentorship, and community support can open doors and change the trajectory of a child’s life.
Erandi earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in Ethnic Studies from Santa Clara University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During her time there, she mentored first-generation and BIPOC students through the LEAD Scholars Program and served as President of the Latiné Student Union and Vice President of The Women’s Network. She also worked with Santa Clara University Athletics as a Game Day Lead and Intern Coordinator, mentoring student interns and helping coordinate large-scale athletic events that brought together students, families, and the broader community.
Erandi has also supported youth through programs including Breakthrough San Francisco and Manuel’s Renshinkan Karate Dojo. At Breakthrough, she supported academic programming, taught dance and step, and translated for Spanish-speaking families to strengthen communication and access to educational resources. At the dojo, she mentored students while teaching self-defense, leadership, and confidence in supportive environments.
In her free time, Erandi enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
