Cianna Leatherwood, MD, MPH, is a physician and clinical drug development leader with a background in rheumatology and internal medicine. She has dedicated her career to advancing innovative therapies and improving health outcomes for patients, with a particular interest in expanding access and opportunity for underserved communities. Beyond her work in medicine, Cianna is passionate about creating an environment where children have the support, encouragement, and opportunities they need to thrive. She is honored to serve on the Friends of the Children Advisory Committee and contribute to its mission of empowering young people to realize their potential.
